In the previous newsflash we showed how easily you can filter the
Spelling Check Result list.
The reduced list only contains sentences with real typos and sentences
with customer related words that you didn’t want in your custom
dictionary.
When you double-click a sentence in the list, Tstream Editor Studio
scrolls to the sentence in the source and target preview panes,
loading the sentence into the New Version edit field with the unknown
words marked in yellow.
Too bad if the Spelling Check Result list covers the New Version
edit field...
Here’s the tip to avoid having to close and reopen the result
list all the time:
Go to the "Layout" submenu in the "View" menu
and select “Horizontally Arranged at Bottom”.
The Proposals area containing the New Version edit field and the
preview panes now have swapped places. The source and target preview
panes have now become obscured by the Spelling Check Result list.
But this is less important while correcting typos.
The layout switch you performed just now is for the current document
only.
If you want to open every document using this or any other layout,
go to the "View" tab in the "Preferences" dialog
and select the layout of your choice. Click OK to confirm and close
the dialog.
By the way, did you notice the shortcuts for the layouts?
Next
time: without the mouse in the result panels.
