Since the release
of Tstream Editor 4.0, we use Java WebStart to install and
automatically update Tstream Editor.
However, if you visit this page because you are encountering problems
with Tstream Editor, please consider the following checklist:
|
| I can't
find the shortcut of Tstream Editor on the desktop or in the
'All Programs' list |
 |
Windows |
| |
- Click the Windows start
button.
- Click Run...
- In the input field, type javaws
(which is short for Java WebStart). The Java Application Cache
Viewer dialog will be displayed.
If the dialog does not display or you get an error, the Java Runtime
Environment on your computer is either missing or damaged. In
that case, you should reinstall it.
- In the Java Application Cache Viewer
dialog, right-click the Tstream Editor icon and choose
Uninstall shortcuts (if this option is available). Then, right-click
the icon again and choose Install shortcuts.
Your All Programs list will now contain a folder shortcut Tstream
Editor with 1 program shortcut.

- Type tesws.jnlp in
the Search field of a Finder window.
- If the search returns a result, either
move the tesws.jnlp to the Dock or to your desktop. Double-click
the file to launch Tstream Editor.
- If the search returns no results, you
no longer have Tstream Editor on your Macintosh. In that
case, click the button below to start the installation of Tstream
Editor.
