Tstream Editor 4.2.34

What are the advantages of Tstream Editor and Xplanation Tstream?

One of the major advantages of Tstream Editor and Xplanation Tstream is that you don't have to own a copy of the word processors the documents to translate were created in. You don't have to learn all those word processors, and you don't have to upgrade each time a new version is available. This is because each document to be translated, is stripped from all proprietary coding and formatting on the Xplanation Tstream server.

You will receive an lwo file. This lwo file is a zip document containing all the information you need to do a proper job. This information may include translation proposals, terminology provided by the customer, notes and one or more Adobe Acrobat Reader documents (PDF) of the original document.

When you have translated the text, you upload the lwo file to Tstream, the Xplanation Workflow System. There, the translations will be extracted from the file and the Tstream will regenerate the original document with the translated text.

Tstream Editor can be used on computers running Windows, Unix, Linux and Macintosh OSX (Tiger). For the time being, it has only been used on a daily basis on Windows platforms.
